Portsmouth’s Joseph Spencer Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently made a donation of art supplies to Bloom-Vernon Schools. The donation was given to Christina Scott, Licensed Professional Counselor at the school who uses the supplies for therapy with students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Over 100 items were donated. The donation was facilitated by Beverly Stringer, Committee Chairperson of the chapter’s Community Classroom committee.
The Joseph Spencer Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is a local non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children.
