Wheelersburg High School Basketball Homecoming will take place Saturday, January 21 when the Pirates host South Point. The Homecoming ceremony will take place between the JV and Varsity games. The Homecoming theme is “Empire State of Mind”.
Reigning as Homecoming Queen is Morgan Willoughby. She is the daughter of Eugene and Michelle Willoughby. Morgan will be escorted by Senior basketball captains Tanner Bivens, son of Matt and Aimee Hall and Nick and Keri Bivens; Kaden Coleman, son of Phil and Missy Coleman; Daylor Lewis, son of Greg Lewis and Lisa Lewis; and Keaton Newsome, son of Dave and Patti Newsome.
Madison Evans is the Senior attendant. She is the daughter of Jessica and Jason Russell. Madison will be escorted by Senior basketball captains Clayton Meadows, son of Andy Meadows and grandson of Leland and Debbie Pruitt, and J.J. Stamper, son of John and Amy Stamper.
The Junior attendant is Allie Rice. Allie is the daughter of Gary and Lisa Rice. She will be escorted by Bryson Keeney, son of Joe Keeney and Michele Wakefield.
Kiara Tilley is the Sophomore attendant. She is the daughter of Jerod and Nikki Tilley. Kiara will be escorted by Dustin Darnell, son of Neil and Becki Darnell.
The Freshman attendant is Sydney Chamberlin. She is the daughter of Mandy and Zack Conkel and Andrew Gill. She will be escorted by Hunter Ruby, son of Scott and Jodi Ruby.
The Varsity and JV cheerleaders will sponsor a dance following the game to honor the queen and her court.
