Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will gather for 10:30 AM Morning Worship on Sunday October 14 with guest ministers, Doug and Connie Altman, sharing the message. The weekly World Church theme of “What Must I Do?” will be developed by Priest Luanne Day and Elder Kathy Deemer at the piano. The Fall Business Meeting will be held during the Morning Worship hour. Shannon Conley will lead the youth during Children’s Church also beginning at 10:30 AM. Saints Study with Elder Kathy Deemer in charge will begin at 9:30 AM. The young adults and youth of the branch will gather on Wednesday October 17 for the annual Halloween Party with the fun and fellowship starting at 6 PM. The Girlfriends-n-God Women’s Department will be presenting their 36th Holiday Bazaar in the church basement on Friday November 2 and Saturday November 3 from 9 AM – 3 PM each day. Christ’s Community Church, (CCC), 2433 25th Street, Portsmouth, invite the public to attend any of the following activities. Church services are held Saturday, 5 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. This weeks’ services will be presented by Pastor Scott Rawlings with the Divine Design topic, “Money.”

Weather permitting, on October 21th the Mount Hope Free Will Baptist Church will be hosting our Fall Festival. Brother Mike Bevins will be preaching. It will be located at Joe Belford’s Old Home Place at 955 Monroe Road, Wheelersburg, Ohio. The Centenary’s Worship Band will be singing and playing music. We will be serving dinner of old fashioned beans cooked over an open fire also with smoked pork. If you want you can bring a covered dish and/or wear old fashioned clothes. Just be comfortable.
