The First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg, will host its annual Ladies Fall Fellowship Thursday, Oct. 19. Serena Miller, of Minford and a multiple award-winning author of inspirational, historical and Amish fiction, will be the speaker. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m., and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. The menu will include chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, tossed salad, desserts and rolls. All ladies of the area are invited to come and enjoy an evening of free food, fun, fellowship and spiritual learning. Services Sunday, Oct. 15, at the First Church of Christ, 1224 Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg, will include Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and worship services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sam Cooke will preach during the 10:30 a.m. and the 6 p.m. worship services, and he will lead the Sunday school lesson. The community is invited to worship with our congregation.

The ladies will meet for Bible study at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the church annex. All ladies are invited to attend.

COLTS will meet for lunch and fellowship at noon Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Ponderosa, 8801 Ohio River Road, Wheelersburg. Please come and join the group for a time of fellowship.

Praise, prayer and Bible study with the study of Matthew will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will gather at 10:30 AM on Sunday October 15 for their Children’s Sabbath Day Morning Worship hour. The weekly World Church theme of “The Banquet Is Ready” will be developed by Elder Kathy Deemer along with Elder Carol McGraw presenting the musical selections and the McGraw family leading the youth during Children’s Church. Saints Study will begin at 9:30 AM as Elder Kathy Deemer brings forth the study discussion. After Morning Worship fellowship will continue with a carry-in lunch and then an afternoon of fun at the PRP Pumpkin Patch. A “Healing Service” will be held at Lucasville Community of Christ on Sunday October 15 at 6 PM. The “Girlfriends-n-God” will meet on Tuesday October 17 at the branch to finalize plans for their 35th Annual “Holiday Bazaar” presented by the West Portsmouth Women’s Department and will be held on Friday November 3 and Saturday November 4 in the church basement from 9 AM – 4 PM each day. All are welcome!!
