The Lucasville Valley Indians defeated the Portsmouth West Senators Wednesday evening in a battle amogst two SOC II teams.
The Indians finished the night with a 3-0 win over the Senators to capture the first of a two-game series with West.
Eli Harr pitched a complete game shutout Wednesday evening. The Valley hurler gave up only two hits and struck out seven West batters in the win.
Harr helped his own cause as well, going 4-4 from the plate driving in a pair of runs, and hitting a double. He also stole a base.
Bryan Rolfe, Derek Burk, and Tanner Cunningham all had a pair of hits as well.
The Indians and the Senators will face-off again on Friday evening in Lucasville to complet the series. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m.
