Toler to speak at Leadership Breakfast

PORTSMOUTH — Dr. Stan Toler, international speaker will be welcomed back to Portsmouth on March 10, for what is expected to be an exciting, innovative morning for a Leadership Breakfast in Portsmouth for business, civic and community leaders.

The topic of discussion will be ‘5 Star Customer Service,’ and will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Welcome Center at 342 Second Street in Portsmouth.

Event coordinator Tim Throckmorton, said he brought Toler back to speak in Portsmouth for a plethora of reasons that will enhance organizations and the county.

“My vision for bringing Stan back to the Portsmouth area is to bring together leaders from throughout the community to network, build relationships and glean leadership principles that will enrich organizations and the county,” Throckmorton said. “Stan Toler is a dynamic international speaker, bestselling author, and compassionate teacher. His approachable and interactive leadership style fosters a high-energy, collaborative environment where growth and change occur. Stan is committed to the idea that everyone with even a small amount of leadership talent can become a good even great leader.”

Toler is also described as an engaging presenter with a terrific sense of humor and the charm of a Southern storyteller, and has spoken in eighty countries and shared the platform with Zig Ziglar, Jerry Lucas, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey.

Toler pulls from a rich history of leadership experience. For many years he served as vice president for John C. Maxwell’s INJOY Leadership Institute, where he trained leaders to make a positive difference in the world. Zig Ziglar said of Toler’s expertise, “Stan teaches principles and procedures that will build a business, a church, a home, a community, or a nation.
