A search warrant executed by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office has netted $12,000 in heroin, guns and cash, resulted in the arrest of four individuals, and the location of two juveniles inside the residence.
Pike County Sheriff Charles Reader said on Tuesday, deputies from his office served a search warrant on the residence of Timothy E. Sines at 2361 Buchanan Road in Piketon. The search warrant was a result of an investigation involving drug trafficking of heroin from the Sines residence.
Deputies said they recovered approximately 60 grams of suspected heroin with a street value of $12,000, firearms, and money. Upon execution of the search warrant, Reader said it was discovered that two young juvenile females were inside the residence.
Arrested were Amy S. Holton, 38 of the Buchanan Road address, who was charged with possession of heroin and endangering children; Terry Sines, 21, of the same address, who was charged with possession of heroin; Frederick Jason Tackett, 48 of 5962 Clines Chapel Road in Waverly, also charged with possession of heroin and Sara Beth Trent, 31 of 4212 Pleasant Hill Road in Waverly on a bench warrant for failure to appear.
Reader said additional charges will be forwarded to the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration.
Assisting in the service of the search warrant were the Emergency Response Team (ERT) from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, officers from the Pike County Probation Department, investigators from the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office and investigators from the 23 Major Crimes Task Force.
“This has been a lengthy, ongoing investigation of the Sines residence on Buchanan Road,” Reader said. “I would like to thank the citizens of Pike County for their support and urge them to continue to report illegal activity.”
