The Glenwood Lady Tigers lost a close game to the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings, 57-55, Thursday night at Glenwood High School in New Boston, Ohio.
The Lady Vikings had two players reach double figure scoring on Thursday evening, Jensyn Shepherd, and Breanna Brumfield.
Shepherd earned double-double honors for her performance against Glenwood, as she scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Brumfield added 10 points for Symmes Valley, while also getting four assists and five steals.
Glenwood had two Lady Tigers reach double figures in the loss to Symmes Valley, Ali Hamilton and Mariah Buckley.
Hamilton led the Lady Tigers in scoring, finishing with 19 points, while Buckley added 12 points to the Glenwood cause.
Glenwood will travel to Piketon, Ohio on Monday evening to take on the Piketon Lady Redstreaks. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
Symmes Valley will host the Western Lady Indians on Monday evening. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
