The Wavery Lady Tigers picked up a road SOC win over the Portsmouth West Lady Senators, 63-39, Thursday night in West Portsmouth.
Laken Smith had yet another great game for Waverly. Smith had another 20-point night, finishing with 21 against the Lady Senators. She also pulled down six rebounds, and added five steals and four assists to her stats on the night.
Kilee Perdue and Jordan Prall also hit double figures against West. Perdue ended the night with 12 points, while also pulling down six rebounds, six steals and three assists.
Prall scored 11 points, also getting four rebounds, and a team high seven steals.
The Lady Senators were led by Makayla Whiteand Madison Compton in scoring. They were the only Lady Senator to reach double figures, finishing with 12 points each.
Terra Butcher also contributed to the Lady Senator cause, scoring nine points.
Portsmouth West will host North Adams on Saturday evening. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
John Bonifield’s Lady Tigers will host Southeastern Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
