Promotions, new hires announced

Compass Community Health, along with The Counseling Center, recently announced a number of new hires and promotions of the individuals within the organizations.

Sonie Hash has been promoted to Vice President of Operations for Compass Community Health.

According to released information, Hash first joined Compass in 2012, as Program Director overseeing day to day operations and management of the health care center.

Hash was an integral member of the team working on the grant application to acquire a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) designation, which is used to fund community health centers in underserved areas, according to the release.

“My team and I plan on continuing to increase the range of care we provide to the community. We have so many opportunities to help people, and we will continue to educate people about their health and break down barriers for them in accessing the care they need,” Hash said in a released statement.

Compass Community Health also announced the hire of Summer Kirby as Chief Financial Officer.

According to released information, Kirby will help fiscally guide the company, as it continues to evolve and explore the additional opportunities associated with being awarded Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status and the accompanying reporting requirements.

Kevin Blevins has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of The Counseling Center.

Blevins has been an employee of Compass Community Health and The Counseling Center since 2010. He has spent 20 years in banking.

“As an organization, we need to continually challenge ourselves to be better at what we do. In the role of COO, I hope to expand upon our existing culture of quality and to support our front line staff in making meaningful changes that improve the lives of the people we serve,” Blevins said in a released statement.

Angie Tuggle had been promoted to Interim Clinical Director of The Counseling Center.

The Counseling Center promoted Jeff Mundhenk to Vice President of Operations. According to released information, in his new role, Mundhenk will oversee all the operational aspects of The Counseling Center Inc., including all new construction and remodeling of facilities, safety, security, food service, transportation and training.

Mindy Albrecht was promoted to the newly created position of Health Information Director of The Counseling Center.

The Counseling Center announced the hiring of Nick Ferrara to the newly created position of Jail Diversion Coordinator.

According to released information, Ferrara previously served as a probation officer for 19 years, starting with the Scioto County Juvenile Court in 1997 and then the Scioto County Common Pleas Court Adult Probation Department in 2000, where he served as Chief Probation Officer and Program Director for the last ten years.

Keith Charles was hired by The Counseling Center as Recovery Support Coordinator.
