The Notre Dame Lady Titans remain undefeated on the year, as they beat the Western Lady Indians 63-56, Thursday evening in Latham, Ohio. Notre Dame improves their record to an unblemished 5-0, with a 3-0 SOC I record.
Lexi Smith had an impressive night on the court, recording a double-double. Smith scored 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds against the Lady Indians.
Two other Lady Indians reached double figures in scoring Thursday night. Molly Hoover, and Hagen Schaefer added 11 points each for the Lady Titan cause. Hoover also contributed five assists, while Schaefer pulled down eight rebounds.
The Lady Indians were led on offense by CC Shanks, who scored 26 points for Western. Kylie Tong, and Erin Brewster aided the Western cause Thursday evening by scoring eight points each for the Lady Indians.
Notre Dame will travel to Willow Wood, OH on Thursday, December 10th to face SOC I foe Symmes Valley. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Lady Indians will next take the court as they host Symmes Valley on December 7th. That game will have a 6 p.m. tipoff.
