GREENUP, Ky. — The Greenup County Extension 4-H Youth Development is gearing up to host its annual 4-H Cloverbud Camp on Tuesday, June 23, through Thursday, June 25, for youth ages 5-8.

Aaron Boyd, Greenup County 4-H agent, said they are looking forward to a very enjoyable camp this year. This year’s theme is ‘The Wild-Life of a Cloverbud.’

“We still have 20 spots open for the camp, and so there is still time for more kids to get signed up,” Boyd said. “We usually have a field trip during the camp every year. This year we are going to Salato Wildlife Center in Frankfort, and its going to be really nice. We’ll take them out to Greenbo and do some fun activities with them, and then on the last day we will take them to Frankfort, to the Wildlife Center.”

June 23 and 24’s camp will be held at the Greenbo Lake State Park shelter house. Thursday’s camp (June 25) will be a field trip to visit the Salato Wildlife Center in Frankfort, Ky. The cost for the Cloverbud Camp is $15 which covers all expenses.

Registration forms may be picked up at the Extension Office located at 35 Wurtland Ave., in Wurtland, Ky. Those interested should stop by the office and register as soon as possible. Registration forms and payments are due at the Extension Office no later than Friday, June 19.
