Leroy Miller, 80

Leroy M. Miller, 80, of Rubyville died Monday, March 11, 2013, at his residence. He was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Hyannis, Neb., a son of the late Harry and Fola Brown Miller. He was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Viet Nam. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Jenkins Miller whom he married on April 4, 1992, in Portsmouth; four stepsons, Jerry (Sandra) Lawhorn of Beaver, Jeffrey (Danette) Lawhorn of Lucasville, Owen (Angie) Green of Piketon and Jon Stanley of DeGraff, Ohio.; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Green of Peebles and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him very much. He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Vernon Green Jr. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2013, at Memorial Burial Park with graveside honors by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be Thursday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
