Robert Jefferson, 43
Robert Edward Jefferson, 43, of West Portsmouth, died Monday, Dec.10, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born March 13, 1969, in Atlanta, Ga. to John E. Jefferson and the late Brenda Warbenton. Before Robert’s heart condition, he was a landscaper.
Robert is survived by his wife Julie Spriggs Jefferson, two step-children , two sisters, a brother, two grandaughters, and a grandson, Bryson Hess. He is also survived by his best friend, Casey Benner.
Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday Dec. 14, 2012, at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service on Friday.
