Oma Hays, 91

Oma Lee Hays, 91, of Odle Creek, West Portsmouth, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Hempsted Manor.

She was born Nov. 18, 1921, in Portsmouth, to the late George Russell and Theresa Pertuset Meyers.

She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Along with her parents Oma was preceded in death by her husband Red Hays and a son Ralph Monk Jr.

Oma is survived by a daughter Suzi Mae (Tom) Zaph of West Portsmouth, a sister Lorenna Coudriet of Dayton and special caregivers Winford and Bev Vanhoose of West Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Chris Wiseman officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
