Joyce Jenkins Matthews, 45

Joyce Ann (Jenkins) Matthews, 45, passed away Oct. 15, 2012, at Heartland of Jackson. She was born Sept. 18, 1967, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Calvin and Barb (Hughes) Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, whom she married April 24, 1993, Charles Clifford Matthews, of Oldfort Ohio; children, Ashley Nicole, Megan Rose and Charles Ernest Matthews; grandchild on the way, Gabriel Michael Adkins; sisters, Karen Calhoun and Janet Frey. She worked at Heartland of Jackson for the past 15 years.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill with burial to follow in C.M. Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
