Norma Conley, 66

Norma Jean Conley, age 66, of Pedro died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at UK Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was born October 29, 1945 in Portsmouth, to the late Chester Cook and Ruth Rase Cook. She was a retired school teacher in Pikeville, Ky., and a member of many organizations,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Conley who she married June 21, 1985, at Saint John’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one sister, Bonnie (Charles) DeLong, two cousins, Lester Smith and Pansie Cook, two nephews, George DeLong and Donald Delong, two neices, Rita Large and Angie Delong and a friend, Brenda Hess.

Funeral Services will be Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Powellsville with Pastor Carl Beck officiating. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The arrangements are under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home.
