Aaron Irwin, 58

Aaron G. Irwin age 58 years of West Union, Ohio died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. Mr. Irwin was born June 27, 1954, the son of Mary L. (Penn) Smith and the late Grover A. Irwin in Columbus, Ohio. Besides his father; Mr. Irwin was preceded in death by a brother William Krohn.

Mr. Irwin attended West Union Church of Christ and the Community Bible Church, a member of the West Union Masonic Lodge No. 43 and was a Past Master, a member of the Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rights, Den leader for the cub scouts, former member of the True Gospel Sounds, New Pilgrim Quartet, Apostles and Union Springs.

Survivors include his wife; Amber Irwin of West Union, Ohio; one daughter; Shandra Irwin and Eric Havens of West Union, Ohio; son; Jachin Irwin; two grandchildren; Brayleigh Irwin and Easton Irwin. sisters; Debra Rogers and husband John of Landsdale, Pa.; Marsha Johnson and husband David of Huntington, W.Va. Isla Hussey and husband Greg of Rarden, Ohio; one brother; Charles Herb Irwin and wife Mary of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio with Ron Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in the Moon Cemetery with military services by the Adams County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic services at 6 p.m.
