Catherine O’Neil Clark, 92

Catherine Marie O’Neil Clark, 92, a native of Massachusetts and resident of Fairhope passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. Mrs. Clark graduated from St. Mary of the Springs College in Columbus, Ohio. She raised six children and taught middle school for 20 years. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Clark; a daughter, Sarah Storm; two sons, Paul Alan and Daniel Augustine; and three sisters and two brothers, Jean Mahle, Eileen Balmert, Betty Glockner, Paul and Daniel O’Neil.

She is survived by a son, G. Neil Clark of Fairhope; a daughter, Catherine Nealon of LaFollette, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Portsmouth, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
