Randolph Wolfenbarker, 78

Randolph “Randy” Wolfenbarker, 78, of South Shore, Ky., died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. He was born July 2, 1934, at Walsh, Ky., a son of he late Floyd Wolfenbarker and Florence Keaton Wolfenbarker.

He was a construction worker, a member of the Operators Engineers and retired from the Boone Coleman Construction Co. of West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Preceded in death by a son, William Terry Wolfenbarker, one brother Ralph Wolfenbarker and one sister, Thelma Spriggs.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Blizzard Wolfenbarker to whom he married June 7, 1952, three sons, Robert Timothy Wolfenbarker, of South Shore, Ky., George Richard Wolfenbarker of Baltimore, Ohio and Randall Wayne Wolfenbarker of Piketon, Ohio, one daughter, Brenda Joyce Fisher of Chillicothe, Ohio, two sisters, Mary Lou Hamilton and Alma Spriggs both of South Shore, Ky., 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildlren.

Funeral services 1 p.m.Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at the Roberson Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Fox, Trent Wolfenbarker, and Roger Bonzo officiating. Rev. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Ky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
