Phyllis Kennard, 68

Phyllis J. Kennard, 68, of Portsmouth, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 22, 1944, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Theodore Kozick and Helen Bussard Kozick. She had been a member of the former Franklin Avenue United Methodist Church.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, John G. Kennard, whom she married June 15, 1989 in Lancaster, Ohio; one son, Bryan Reid of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Heather (Ron) Estis of Blacklick, Ohio; one grandson, Dane Estis; one step-daughter, Kelly (Darren) Mynes of Hopewell, Ohio; two step-grandchildren, Wyatt Mynes and Delaney Mynes; and one sister, Patti (David) Shonk of Bremen, Ohio.

There will be no visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
