Leola Collins, 70

Leola Collins, 70, of West Portsmouth, OH, formerly of Harlan County, passed from this life on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Harlan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an illness. She was a native of Pathfork, KY and a homemaker.

Leola was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Buck” Collins; her parents, Dave and Ludy Middleton; a sister, Wyomia Reed; and four brothers, Levi, Henrey, Houston and Dewey Middleton.

She is survived by two sisters, Elmirria McQueen of Holmes Mill, KY; and Malinda Huff of Closplint, KY. Also surviving are a host nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 11 am until 1 pm at the Evarts Free Pentecostal Holiness Church. Memorial services will follow at 1 pm with Reverends Lucas Huff, Woody Fields and Woody Fields, Jr. officiating.

Leola will be laid to rest at the Rutherford Cemetery at Closplint, KY with her niece, Tammy Fields serving as urnbearer.
