Danette Louise Williams, 42, of Portsmouth, died, Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Oct. 5, 1969, a daughter of Carolyn Shoemaker Williams of Portsmouth and the late Roger Williams. Danette is also survived by her ex-husband, Danny Johnson of Portsmouth; her twin sister, Nanette (Alf) Bricker of West Portsmouth; two brothers, Charles (Shona) Williams of Sciotoville, Joshua Higgenbotham of Circleville; several nieces and nephews, Brandon Williams, Alfie Bricker, Ashley Bricker, Adam Bricker, Jacob Parson, Cortney Pollard; and two special nieces, Breanna Bricker and Kirsten Williams. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Amber Williams; and her grandparents, Clarence and Helen Shoemaker Easter and Willard and Nell Williams. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the North Moreland Christian Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. on Friday. There will be a commital service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston.
