Yvonne Sleighter, 81, of Huntington, a former Minford area resident, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Gordon and Virlie Maynard Smith, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald K. Sleighter, and one sister, Katherine Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Smith, Harold Smith and one sister, Rebecca Smith.
