Willard Oscar Horsley, 80, of Lucasville, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at SOMC Hospice.

He was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Lewis Co., Ky, a son of the late James Marion and Dakota Melvina Dummit Horsley.

Willard was a former timber worker.

He is survived by one son James (Ellen) Horsley of Lucasville; three grandchildren, Jay, Larissa and Chad; one great-granddaughter, Caroline Rose Horsley; three sisters, Marcella Johnson of English, Ind., Irene Fairchild of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Geneva Butler of North Bend, Ore.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Wilmer and James Waymond Horsley.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Bill Andronis officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 1:30 p.m. before the funeral.
