The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a robber that successfully made off with an undetermined amount of cash despite an apparent wardrobe malfunction.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said his office is currently investigating a bank robbery which occurred at the US Bank located at 400 Center St.

Donini said his office received a call from a bank teller at US bank at 3:44 p.m. stating that they had just been robbed. The description was given as a white male subject, approximately 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 6 inches with a slender build, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans with holes in them with a white ski mask over his face covering everything but one eye and black shoes.

One of the odd things about the way the robber appeared is that the eye holes in the ski mask were on top of his head, and he was looking through the nose hole. Scioto County Sheriff’s Captain David Hall said the robber was carrying a black bag.

He said the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money running toward Lowes on Ohio River Rd.

“He took off running out the back door possibly going west behind the bank,” Hall said. “That was right down in the middle of Wheelersburg during afternoon business hours.”

Donini said anyone with information concerning the robbery should contact Detective Jodi Conkel at the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office – 740-351-1091. He said all calls will remain anonymous.

I hope every bank in this trashy county gets robbed especially if the law is so stupid to even catch one of them , I think all law enforcement should resign, and do this county a favor.
