Clay Massie connected on five 3-pointers for his game-high 21 points as host Wheelersburg defeated West 55-50.

Teammate Dylan Miller joined Massie with 21 as the Pirates did not let a 10-0 run to end the third derail them. Zach Bolton paced the Senators with 17 and Michael Hafer finished with 13.

Wheelersburg takes on Valley Tuesday in Lucasville. West welcomes Waverly.

Host Oak Hill won in a game of unbeaten clubs Friday, giving South Webster its first loss of the campaign. Full statistics were unavailable at press time.

Notre Dame 54, East 31

Host Notre Dame gave East its first loss of the season as the Titans won 54-31 in an SOC I game.

Michael Mader had 12 points and 11 rebounds while Kevin Lewis finished with a game-high 15 points and six steals. The Tartans were led by Patrick Bias with 11.

Notre Dame goes to New Boston for Tuesday’s contest. East returns home to play Western.

D.J. Miller’s 19 and Austin Baldwin’s 16 offset a big night from Eldin Sarajlic and Michael Schmidt as visiting Symmes Valley defeated Clay 57-45 in an SOC I contest.

Schmidt had 10 points to go along with his 12 rebounds. Sarajlic tied Miller for the top scoring performance of the night with 19 and also had six rebounds and five assists. The Panthers travel Tuesday to Eastern and the Vikings host Green.

Beau Justice’s game-high 25 points along with Trent Arey’s 22 helped host Peebles take down Southern Hills League foe Manchester 75-53 in Friday’s action.

Justice led the Indians with eight rebounds while Arey chipped in with eight assists. Peebles hosts Lynchburg Clay in Tuesday’s SHL tip.

Alex Kuhn led all scorers with 26 points and was named game MVP as Oak Hill bounced back from Thursday’s 46-40 loss to Wheelersburg with a 64-31 win over Chillicothe Huntington at the Wellston Lady Rockets Classic.

Abby Haislop added 11 points for the Oaks, who travel Monday to Minford. The Huntsmen were paced by Jackie Kellough’s 10 points.
