Hanging Rock mayor arrested for DUI

HANGING ROCK — According to the Ohio State High Patrol, Hanging Rock Mayor Christopher Davidson, 43, was arrested early Sunday morning for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Officers from the Ironton Police Department along with State Troopers checked a suspicious vehicle parked on Mimosa Lane in Green Valley subdivision in Ironton.

Upon contact with Davidson, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol and his speech was slurred.

Davidson was placed under arrest for OVI and incarcerated at the Lawrence County Jail. His arraignment was scheduled for this afternoon in Ironton Muncipal Court.

Just one more example of the corruption of this little town. Maybe the people of Hanging Rock will a new mayor that would go in and clean up the corruption coming out of their little police force.
