PDT Sports Report
A pair of late Jean Paul White free throws were the necessary insurance for Waverly to escape Washington Court House with a win as the Blue Lions hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer but the Tigers still came away with a 59-58 nonleague victory.
Aaron Heibel connected on five triples himself for a team-high 17 points in the win. Waverly battles Vinton County in Tuesday’s nonleague action set to take place in McArthur.
