The family of Lima Garnet Chamberlin has entrusted the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home, Wheelersburg, with her funeral arrangements. A funeral service, celebrating the life of Lima Chamberlin, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the Union Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating, with interment at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Chamberlin, 92, of Wheelersburg, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her home. She was born Nov. 1, 1920, in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Arthur Coriell and Ola Mae Strawsbaugh Coriell. She was a homemker and a member of Union Free Will Baptist Church since her youth. She loved her church and her family, and at the time of her death, she was the oldest living member of Union Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Pat Chamberlin and wife Diane, of Sciotoville; Danny Chamberlin and wife Rhonda, of Wheelersburg; Don Chamberlin and wife Doris, of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Judy Turner, of Wheelersburg; and Debbie Rase and husband Mike, of Wheelersburg; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Chamberlin, three sons, Blaine, Mike and Jeff Chamberlin; three brothers and five sisters and one grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
