She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Delay and Allie Rowe Delay, as well as sisters, Myrtle Chandler and Henrietta Castle.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Tony) Glass; granddaughter, Savanna Glass; sisters, Anna Edmister, Joyce Strickland, Carolyn Russell, Vernita Sigler and Phyllis Ramsey; brothers, Joe Pratt, Vernon “Oggie” Delay and Carl “Orice” Delay; special friends, Henry Keeton, Sandie Backus and Barbara Young; as well as extra special friend, Pat Steele.
An extra special thank you to niece, Connie Brady who cared for her 24/7 over the last two years; she loved you dearly and you did a wonderful job.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside service will be Sunday, July 18, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Scioto Burial Park at McDermott, OH.
