With three races in the books the Portsmouth Raceway Park track points races are beginning to take shape with only one real surprise.

With three races recorded the late model points leader is Wheelersburg's R.J. Conley with 275.

Conley is no stranger to success at PRP. According to his website, www.conleymotorsportsinc.com he won track championships there in 2003 and 2004.

Defending track champion Kenny Christy is 135 points back, tied for tenth while two-time track champ Jackie Boggs sits in seventh place.

In the bomber division, Jeremie Bretz of Maysville, Ky. holds a 10-point lead over Shane Pendleton. Last year's runner up in the bomber division, Justin Jaynes, is 220 points back and in eighth place.

There are no surprises at all in the limited late division as Coal Grove's John Melvins is once again in first with Evyian Terry in second place.

The modified division standings are also not a shock to PRP fans where Doug "The Buzzard" Adkins holds a 65 point lead over Adam Jordan of South Webster.

This Saturday is Gahm's Kids Night at PRP and kids 12 and under get free admission as well as a gift as they pass through the gate.
