Louella Ruth Chaney, 75, of West Portsmouth, died Friday, May 28, 2010. Ruth was born Oct. 2, 1934, in Portsmouth to the late Evelyn and Ralph Cuppett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Franklin Chaney, and one son, Gregory Chaney. Ruth was the owner of Rolling Hills Stables.
Ruth is survived by one son, Mark Chaney, and one grandson, Scott Chaney.
