Harry Lee Parker, age 75, of Franklin, Ohio, formerly of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at his residence.

Harry was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on Oct. 1, 1934, to Harry W. and Mildred Bazler Parker.

He graduated from Portsmouth High School where he played football and basketball and attended Ashland University also playing football. Harry coached Pee Wee Football in Franklin for 25 years. He was employed at EG&G for 27 years and retired in 1995.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Missy Harman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Landes Parker; sons, David Parker, Mike Parker and wife Kim, all of Franklin, and Doug Parker of Richmond, Ky.; three grandchildren, Josh and Katie of Franklin, and Lauren of Trenton.

Funeral services are Wednesday April 21, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home. 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio, with Pastor Ken Fey officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bill, Gary, Don, and Chuck; buddies from grade school to present for always being there and the many good times spent together.
