Marjorie Beesler, 68, of Sciotodale, died Monday morning, March 15, 2010, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

She was born Oct. 20, 1941, in Portsmouth, to the late Melvin and Mary (Bloomfield) Williams. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, and loved spending time with her family.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Jack Beesler, who she married Jan. 1, 1970, in Wheelersburg; one son, Jack Beesler II of Portsmouth; four daughters, Vicki (David) Hamilton of Portsmouth, Kim (Greg) Gadberry of Oklahoma City, Okla., Melinda Tharp of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Tina Johnson of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Ellis Gallion of Sciotodale; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with Pastor Rick Vance officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour before the service at the funeral home. Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville is handling the arrangements.
