There is a serious problem with the Ohio Sixth Congressional District representation. The arrogance of the current representative is truly a shame.
He seems to feel that he knows what is best for the healthcare of the rest of us. He supports the take over of healthcare by the government and seems proud to have that arrogant stand.
But note that he and fellow elected federal officials will be exempt from the damage being done to the rest of us.
His arrogance has earned him an “F.”
He must be replaced by some one who really represents the people of the district. If the Democrats refuse to replace him in the Primary Election then the good citizens must remove him from office in the General Election.

Minford students make right decision
I wish to commend the students at Minford Local School District for agreeing not to use cell phones while driving.
On July 28, 2009, I was traveling west on U.S. 52 just past the new Portsmouth West High School, at approximately 12:30 p.m. I was headed for Shawnee State Golf Course, when an oncoming car was left of center causing a head on collision. I was Life-Flighted to Columbus Grant Medical Trauma Center.
In a matter of a few seconds, my life changed. I spent 45 days in the trauma unit, 16 days in a coma. I had an abdominal surgery for a Level 7 liver laceration, three surgeries on my left leg by Dr. Appleton. I was later transferred to a rehab center when I spend the next 12 weeks (91 therapy treatments). I was then sent back to SOMC for outpatient therapy.
I am approximately 85 percent better, after a total of 131 ongoing therapy treatments.
Thanks to therapists at SOMC, Angie Basham, Ryan Hickman and James Monroe, aqua therapist, and others.
Again, I wish to thank the students, by your action you do not realize how much trauma you might be saving a person.
This accident was caused by drugs, alcohol and cell phone. It was not a student, but an adult.

A big Hurrah for the students at Minford schools
now if we can get the rest of the schools to get this implemented that would be wonderful.
Mr. Bleving I sincerely hope you get to 100% soon. You sound like a very determined person and when these kinds of tragic accidents occur you have to be strong to get through the physical therapy and that is the key to your wellness along with a prayer now and then.
