Willard Dean Lyles, 75, of Wheelersburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at his residence.

Born Jan. 19, 1935, in New Boston, he was the son of the late Marcus and Gladys Boggs Lyles, he was a 1952 graduate of Glenwood High School, was a former employee of Empire Detroit Steel and was an insurance agent at Dean Lyles Insurance.

He is survived by three sons, Kevin Dean (Sally) Lyles, Daniel Todd (Tracy) Lyles, and Jeffery (Tina) Baker; two daughters, Brenda Sue Wolfe and Kathy Lynn Gregory (Jeff) Lewis; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Dale (Elva) Lyles and Jerry (Shirley) Lyles; and one sister-in-law, Joy Lyles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his birth mother, Ocie Price Lyles, who passed away when he was an infant; and one brother, Ronald Lyles.

Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.
