Wanda Fae Cunning, 86, of McDermott, a former Portsmouth resident, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at SOMC Hospice.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in South Shore, Ky., to the late Robert L. and Fannie M. Virgin Roe. Wanda was a retail sales woman in clothing and appliances and a Baptist.
She is survived by two brothers, Leonard (Mary) Roe of South Shore, Ky., Paul (Linda) Roe of South Vienna; four sisters, Norma (Frank) Evans of South Portsmouth, Ky., Pauline (Richard) Adrian of Springfield, Lucille (J.C.) Mack of South Carolina, Linda Roe of Louisiana; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her two sons, Gregory A. Cunning and Steven A. Cunning; two brothers, Boyd and Kenneth Roe; and two sisters, Euradail Morman and Tempa Berden.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Elder Marshall Oliver officiating. Friends may call at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
