He was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Santoy, Ohio, a son of the late Elmer Lambert and Verland Ferfer Lambert. John was a retired mason and of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Lambert of New Palestine, Ind., and John Lambert of Hebron, Ohio; one daughter, Judy Lambert of Michigan; one brother, Bob Lambert of Columbus; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private with no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
