Millie was born Jan. 14, 1938, in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Jake and Virtree Howard. On Aug. 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to Forrest C. Bellomy who preceded her in death Sept. 8, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Forrest C. “Tike” Bellomy and wife Kimberly Shaw Bellomy of Piketon; three granddaughters, Brianna Bellomy-Nelson and husband Barry of Piketon, Charlotte E. Bellomy and Brandon Cutler of Piketon, and Sonya R. Bellomy of Wellston, Ohio; two grandsons, Brian K. Bellomy Jr. and Jessica Ayers of Washington Court House, Ohio, and Michael S. Bellomy (a Navy Seal) of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Nora Graham of Sturgis, Mich.; a brother, Rodney and Ruby Hall of McDermott, Ohio; two great-granddaughters, Makya L. Nelson, and Crystal Nelson; and four great-grandsons, Morgan Caudill, Logan Roe, Broderick K. Bellomy and Dewon Morgan.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Millie was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Renee Bellomy; a son, Brian Keith Bellomy; and two grandsons, Dakota Bellomy and Joseph Bellomy. She was, also, preceded in death by three brothers, Christy, Denny, and Dempsey Howard; and a sister: Madge Bond.
Millie was a former model before residing in Piketon, Ohio. She, also, traveled the country living in nearly all-50 states. She truly enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, and most of all a great-grandmother. Friends and family will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, with Paul F. Hornback officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park at McDermott.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
