Born May 7, 1936, in Scioto County, Ohio, a son of the late Orville Edward and Olga A. Hickman Culp, he was a laborer at Osco Industries and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Clifford Culp, whom he married Aug. 15, 1959; three sons, Michael (Barbara) Culp, Mark (Becky) Culp, and Darren Culp, all of Minford; one daughter, Tammy (Leon) Blackburn of Minford; six grandchildren, Tom Pitts, Carlee Culp, Luke Culp, Andrea Culp, Danielle Culp, and Marilyn Culp; two great-grandchildren, Emily Pitts and Amelia Pitts; one brother, Vancil Culp of Minford; and one sister, Maxine Kelly of Minford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Ware; and one brother, Ivan Culp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery in Jackson County. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before the service on Saturday.
