Volunteers at Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be taking orders for the January Angel Food Distribution. They will be taking orders in January every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 5 to 7. Notice that the evening hours are changing from Wednesday to Tuesday beginning in January. The last day and time to order online will be Jan. 13 at 11:59 p.m. The cut off date at Cornerstone for January will be Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. with distribution on Jan. 23.
Angel Food is available to all with no income requirements or restrictions. Angel Food is brand name quality items with the Signature box being about $60-$70 of food for $30. This month’s signature box contains two types of chicken, ground beef and beef roast, ribs, meat goulash along with various fresh and frozen items and milk, eggs, and always a dessert. They have various meat and chicken specials also this month along with the senior convenience meals, allergen free box, and fruit and veggie box.
They also have returning a larger seafood box for the old price of $35. Shrimp, fish, crab and more are included.
They also always appreciate donations and make sure a box goes to a local family in need.
