Mrs. Ernestine “Teeny” Warnock Taylor, 85, of South Shore, Ky., died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born in Greenup County, Ky., May 15, 1924, a daughter of the late Ernest Warnock and Essie Lozier Warnock. She was a former employee of the Selby Shoe Factory, a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Taylor, Dec. 5, 2009; five brothers, Curt, Gene, Allen, Charley and James W. Warnock; and three sisters, Margaret McKnabb, Vicie Burton and Judy Warnock.

Surviving are one daughter and her husband, Sandy and Larry Melvin of Portsmouth, Ohio; one brother, Paul Warnock of South Shore, Ky.; one sister, Mary Logan of South Shore, Ky.; three granddaughters and husbands, Pam and Jerry Horton, Tina and Tony Whitt and Vickie Melvin; and six great-grandchildren, Kristina, Julia, Tony, Tabby, Devin and Dakota.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Bill Hayden, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery at South Shore, Ky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
