The SOC Girls Basketball Preview played out at Minford High School on Friday with the SOC II taking every match.

The annual event pits the SOC I schools against their SOC II counterparts in two -quarter scrimmages.

The highlight match of the night featured defending SOC II champion and defending state runners-up Oak Hill against defending SOC I champion New Boston. While the champion vs. champion theme sounds good on paper the Oaks handled the Lady Tigers with relative ease, winning 36-15.

In other scores, Minford defeated Clay 25-11, Valley beat East 21-15, South Webster topped Notre Dame 40-23, Northwest bested Symmes Valley 29-19, Waverly handled Green 29-6, West outlasted Western 31-20 and Wheelersburg defeated Eastern 22-14.
