Fannie M. Craft, 46, of Portsmouth, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at home.

She was born Nov. 26, 1962 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Ramona Hamilton Jarrells and David Mahon of Portsmouth.

She is also survived by her grandmother, Easter Craft of Portsmouth; longtime companion, Chris Covarrubias; two sons, Ernest Akram and Julian Covarrubias, both of Portsmouth; five daughters, Lacy Craft of South Point, Leigha Porter, Easter Covarrubias, Sabrina Covarrubias and Monica Covarrubias, all of Portsmouth; three sisters, Wendy Shope of Marion, Monica Nettleton and Ramona Daniel, both of Columbus; two brothers, Clarence Craft of Columbus, and Ernest Craft of Portsmouth; one grandchild, Jadyn Blevins; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday noon to 2 p.m. at D.W. Swick in New Boston.
