Joyce R. Conley, 61, of Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at home. Joyce was born Sept. 26, 1947, in Twin Valley, a daughter of the late William Lee Conley and Minnie Leona Wiley Conley. Joyce was a graduate of Portsmouth West High School, was retired from the Department of Human Services in Columbus, and was a member of St. Edwards Episcopalian Church in Columbus.

Joyce is survived by one brother, Larry Conley and wife Cathy, of Wheelersburg; one sister, Dorothy L. Conley, of Wheelersburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William David Conley and Richard Delano Conley; three sisters, Anna Lou Conley, Rosa Lee Conley and Jackie Hayslip, and a special nephew, Franklin Duane Conley.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at the Sciotoville Christian Church, with Jason Lykins, minister, officiating, with private burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
