Easter “Carla” Pierce, 50, of North Moreland passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born Oct. 13, 1958, in Portsmouth. She is survived by her parents, James and Joanne Lintz Pierce of North Moreland; two brothers, James (Teresa) Pierce) and Jeff (Debra) Pierce, all of Portsmouth; a sister, Mindy (Shane) Ross of Portsmouth; five nephews, six nieces, five aunts, one great-aunt and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two uncles and a great-uncle.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in New Boston with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Burial will be in Stockdale Cemetery.
