Roger Dale "Red" Taylor, 53, of South Webster, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday May 10, 2009.

He was born Jan. 14, 1956, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Darwood Taylor and Ruth Aldridge Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Fulk Taylor; four sons, Roger D. Taylor of South Webster, Matthew A. Moore of Oak Hill, Rickey Moore Taylor of Scioto County and Roger Taylor of Gallia County; two daughters, Melissa Moore of Wheelersburg and Michelle Moore of Minford; four brothers, Richard Taylor and Tim Taylor, both of South Webster, John Taylor of Florida and Durb Taylor of Portsmouth; three sisters, Karen Lore of Franklin Furnace, Lisa Cook of Portsmouth and Patsey Cook of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Mariah Lore, Matthew and Dominique Moore, Jamenson Taylor, Brooklyn Moore and Haley and Aaron Blevins; along with numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at the D.W. Davis Funeral Home in South Webster with the Rev. James Keller officiating and interment in Blackfork Cemetery.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the D.W. Davis Funeral Home.
