Sedan Crabtree Road, CR 34 in Morgan Township, will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, both day and night. The road will close at 8 a.m. Tuesday and reopen at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The road will be closed 1.84 miles from Ohio 348, 0.90 miles from Crammer Road, 0.70 miles from McCorkle, and 2.80 miles from Big Bear Creek.
New Boston tests hydrants
The New Boston Fire Department will be testing and flushing fire hydrants in New Boston from from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday until May 16. Residents may encounter slightly discolored water from the testing.

Greenbo hosts tractor show
Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and Greenup Old Tractors, Engines, and Machinery will have the annual Tractor Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park’s Community Pool Parking Lot on May 16. All tractors are welcome along with hit and miss engines.
Tractor registration will be 9 to 11 a.m. There will be a Tractor Parade through the park at 11 a.m. Tractor games will begin at 1 p.m. with a Kiddies Tractor Pull followed by tractor games for adults. The event will be free.
Greenbo Lake State Resort Park, 965 Lodge Road, Greenup, Ky., is located on Ky. 1, 18 miles north of I-64 from Grayson exit or eight miles south of U.S. 23 on Ky 1.
Veterans’ appreciation is May 16
Friends of Shawnee State Park will have Veterans’ Appreciation Weekend May 16 at Shawnee State Park Campground, 4404 Ohio 125, Portsmouth.
Schedule will include an honorary pancake breakfast from 8 to 1 a.m., children’s crafts, special appearance by Uncle Sam, and veterans’ appreciation ceremony at noon.
They will be collecting cards and items for care packages to be mailed to the troops.

The Stephanie Williams Knipp Memorial Scholarship Pancake Breakfast will be from 8 to 11 a.m. May 16 at Eastern High School, 1170 Tile Mill Road, Beaver. Also there will be a fun walk at 9 a.m. May 16.
