Born June 24, 1916, in Pike County, Ky., a daughter of the late Noah B. and Belva L. Johnson Greer, she was a homemaker and a member of Little Ettie Old Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Russell (Christine) Smallwood of Columbus, Don (Valerie) Smallwood of Wapakoneta, and Mike (Mary) Smallwood of Elyria; two daughters, Billie (Charles) Schappacher of Cincinnati and Jerri Kelley of Lucasville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cline Greer of Burdine, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Smallwood; one sister, Irene Hounshell; and one brother, Gene Greer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Little Ettie Old Regular Baptist Church, with Elder D. Osborne officiating. Burial will be at Greer Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford and one hour before the service on Thursday at the church.
